Thoroughbred 10U won their second championship of the season and improved their record to 12-8 in the fall season.
Thoroughbred 10U saw an offensive explosion enroute to winning the championship, scoring 48 runs over four games. They hit 21 extra-base hits, including nine triples over the weekend. Filip Kawa led the power surge with three doubles and two triples, followed by three doubles from Pat Harbison. Carter Rohrback hit two doubles and two triples, Nolan Smith had a double and two triples, Sammy Leech had two triples, Anthony Cantarella had two doubles, and Alex Jarmon added a double, while Chase Roller contributed a triple.
Our 10U team now heads to Sports at the Beach in Rehoboth, DE to close out their season.
Thoroughbred 14U won their third championship of the fall season and recorded their 30th win on the season against 15 losses.
As usual, Thoroughbred 14U pitchers controlled the game, but this weekend the offense provided a comfort zone for the pitching staff, scoring 39 runs in the 5-game weekend.

As usual, Thoroughbred 14U pitchers controlled the game, but this weekend the offense provided a comfort zone for the pitching staff, scoring 39 runs in the 5-game weekend.
Cheney Shields, Chris Goff, Blake Edwards, Cooper Yarmolyk, Luke Zacharia, Carter Launer, and Eric Bonilla were their typical brilliant selves on the mound, combining to collect 28 strikeouts while only allowing three earned runs on the championship weekend.
Carter Launer led the offensive with a grand slam and Shane Balum added his own home run, along with a triple. Cooper Yarmolyk, Braeden Quinn, Jackson Brown, Aiden Stephenson, and Joey Latawiec all hit doubles.
The 14s now head to Sprots at the Beach, before ending the season in Charleston, SC.
Thoroughbred 15U won their 31st game of the fall season this weekend, competing in an All-Star Showcase Tournament.
The 15s next play at Sports at the Beach, before heading to Charleston, SC to close out their fall season.
