13U - USABL Champions
Huge congratulations to the Thoroughbred 13U Baseball Team on capturing the USABL Championship this weekend!
The soon-to-be Rising 14U squad battled their way through the tournament with an impressive 4-1 record and finished in championship style, defeating Zoned Redhawks Select by a commanding 10-3 score to bring home the title. Vince Springfield delivered a standout performance on the mound, throwing six strong innings to earn the win. He was just as impactful at the plate, collecting two hits, including his second home run of the tournament.
This championship was truly a full-team effort. Every Thoroughbred player contributed to the run, with Connor Kelly, Paul Kovaleski, Rex Yokus, Brendan Smith, Leo Chernin, and Noah Nicholl all adding extra-base hits in the championship push. What a weekend, what a team, and what a way to finish as 13U champions. Congratulations, Thoroughbreds — enjoy every moment of this well-earned victory! Now to the Princeton Day School Tournament.
